Farm to Glass
This fall we will be busy milling and distilling!
Vermont whiskey born from our own soil.
In 2022 we planted and harvested our first grains to make our whiskeys.
This was the beginning of our journey towards “Farm to Glass” whiskey.
This fall, we will release our first 3 year old bourbon made from Vermont farm grown grains and distilled in Tennessee.
With the completion of the gristmill, still house and rickhouse, this fall, all aspects from farm to glass will take place on the farm.

From the family farm to your glass
At Boyden Valley Spirits, our whiskey begins where it always has — in the soil. Grown on the ancient seabed soils of the Champlain Valley, our grains are cultivated with the same care, pride, and respect for the land that has guided generations before us. Every bottle is a tribute to family, perseverance, and the enduring magic of this farm we are honored to call home.
Where whiskey begins in the soil
We farm 80 acres of grain varieties that age for years in our barrels, producing distinct whiskey expressions. We turn Vermont soil into something worth drinking, from the first seed planted to the moment it reaches your glass.
Coming This October
Single cask, cask strength, made from Vermont-grown grains, distilled in Tennessee.
Single Cask Bourbon Whiskey
Our Single Cask Farm Strength bourbon whiskey is a direct expression of our farm and heritage. Each cask is unique and are chosen to stand on their own. High in malted barley at 10% of the mashbill, 20% rye and 70% corn. Aged in a #3 Kelvin Cooperage barrel instead of a typical #4, instilling richer wood flavors with less charcoal. Barreled in the spring of 2023, made from Vermont grown grains, distilled in Tennessee.
